Ok, so my mom came over last night... with no intentions of even talking to me, just to pick up some mail. I mean really, how lame to begin with.

Yet, we did manage to exchange a few words, but for some reason it was the most useless conversation I ever had with her.

She had no idea what to tell me (like she ever does). She just sat there, it was like trying to talk to a friend from high school who I just recently got into an argument with.

Not a mother and daughter conversation at all.

I know what they say that you can't choose your parents, but c'mon... it's like she just gave birth to me and my sister.. and till this day has to clue to how to nurture/support or encourage us at all.

She has always been a one word answer kind of person. But give me a break...I been on this earth for 26 years and you still have figured it out.

Mind you, I don't ask her for a dime and when we go out she never picks up the tab... I do what I can to help her in whatever way possible...

Yet somehow, she will never appreciate or show that she even gives a shit.

It's just sad b/c she is alive and healthy, yet she couldn't give a rat's ass about me or my daughter.

It's no big deal though.. I mean don't get me wrong it hurts...

But to be honest, if she doesn't give a shit, why the hell should I.

It's beyond a waste of time with her..

Can someone please help me understand why my little one doesn't want to go potty? I don't know how many times we have practiced but for some reason it's not happening. We have gone through about 10 + accidents so far and nothing yet.

Should I get a new potty?? Maybe Elmo is not her thing anymore...

Should I bribe her with stickers and candy? Done it. Doesn't work....

Is she still too little? Well, then again it's not like she's 15 months old... she's 2 1/2...

I have no clue what my next step is... oh yeah I forgot still working on getting the bobo out of her mouth at night..

Ha..... another item to add on the list.. :(

Why Men Cheat??

That was the topic on Oprah's show yesterday. It was pretty interesting to know that men don't cheat just for sex.. Shocking.. I know trust me... I thought that would be the only reason they would wander off. But as Gary (expert Jewish guy) kept saying there is an emotional disconnection from the husband and wife that takes place first. The man tends to feel unappreciated and is often not acknowledged for any of the small minor things that he does to make his wife happy and content.

It's crazy when he said that married couples on average speak for "12 minutes a day". How insane is that?? But I guess when you look at all the things that you need to take care of on an average day (work, cook, clean, watch after the kids, put them to sleep) is pretty clear to see why there is no time for communication.

And to think this is the #1 reason for divorces today... Communication

Of course money will always be an issue as well, but those are things that could always be attained, but if you do not have the item above as well as honesty, your relationship will be doomed for failure..

OK, I am preaching way to much... :)

What an eventful weekend I just had. Despite the fact that it was valentine's.. nothing nearly special happened. Let's just say that the closest relationship that I had with someone is gone.

It's sad when your arguing and fights begin with loved ones because at the end of the day it's a lose, lose situation for the both of us.

Who knows what will happen in the long run, if the relationship will ever be mended. But in the meantime let's just say that this has definitely been a lesson learned.

Hey,

I'm starting this blog to give a little insight as to my life a mom, full time employee and a struggling female going through an up and down relationship.

I felt like (of course, with the assistance of my fab girlfriends ~ Iran, Marlyn, Cynthia) this would be the perfect way to vent about what I'm always feeling. Everyday is different, some days are somewhat good.. but overall I am a lost puppy not knowing where my future or relationship is going... Ahh this sucks...:(

Oh..and on top of that having a 2 year old running around destroying the house.........who also refuses to use the potty and still uses the infamous bobo at night Dios Mio... HELP~

Anywho, enough of the depressing stuff.. I also love fashion and celebrity gossip, so of course.. I will be including various rich but fab people news.. aka Chris Breezy and Rihanna.. WTF???

Hopefully, you guys will join me on this insane ride called life....................
